With over 15 years of finance and accounting experience, Curtis brings to Anthology the highest commitment to financial stewardship, accountability and transparency. Having worked in a diverse range of companies and industries across the United States, his experience and perspective is uniquely geared towards helping Anthology navigate the dynamic digital future of marketing communications.
Prior to joining Anthology, Curtis held management positions at Amazon.com, KPMG LLP, McKesson Corporation, and PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. He holds a B.B.A in Accounting from the University of Hawaii at Mānoa and a M.S. in Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University. Curtis is also certified public accountant licensed in the states of California and Hawaii (non-practicing).
Bonnie Lee Alig
Managing Research Director, Guam office
Bonnie Lee Alig is responsible for overseeing all aspects of research development, execution and process in Anthology’s offices in Guam. Her work includes developing new business opportunities, sales and client servicing, and developing qualitative and quantitative research programs that support marketing objectives for multiple industry clients in Guam and the Western Pacific.
A native of Guam, Bonnie joined Anthology’s Research Group in 2002 and holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with concentrations in management and marketing from Hawaii Pacific University. She is an active member of the Rotary Club of Tumon Bay and a member of the University of Guam School of Business and Public Administration’s Advisory Council. Bonnie also holds memberships in the Guam Visitors Bureau, Guam Chamber of Commerce and Guam Women’s Chamber of Commerce.
Account Supervisor, Public Relations Group
With over 10 years experience in marketing, communications and advertising, Michelle has banked invaluable time in both agency and nonprofit cultures. She supported a broad range of brands from tourism to finance to health care and more. Powered by curiosity and a dedication to innovative, results-driven work, Michelle supervises integrated marketing programs involving public relations, social media, strategic brand development, digital communications, traditional advertising, and events. Prior to moving to Hawaii in 2009, Michelle started in Account Management at advertising agencies in Portland, Oregon and Irvine, California. Michelle holds a B.S. in Business Administration from California State University Long Beach, with a major in marketing and minor in psychology.

One of the hardest-working women in Hawaii advertising, Wendi inspires her team and coworkers with her dedication and determination. Born, raised and educated in Hawaii, Wendi has seen the world of advertising and design change dramatically over the past 30 years — and has stayed ahead of the curve every step of the way. Since joining Anthology in 1999, Wendi’s contemporary, innovative approach has enabled her to provide a wide range of clients with designs that are truly reflective of their brands.
VP – Media Services
A widely recognized media expert, Chuck is an outside-the-box thinker who collaborates with media outlets and cooperative partners to create innovative advertising opportunities that achieve higher visibility and memorability for his clients. Chuck’s advertising pedigree includes 20 years’ experience in the New York City agency scene on behalf of some of the world’s most recognizable brands. Since coming to Hawaii in 1991, Chuck has created strategic media plans for Hawaiian Airlines, American Savings Bank, Kaiser Permanente and Maui Visitors and Convention Bureau, to name just a few.
VP - Human Resources
Vicki Daniel is a strategic, creative-thinking, decisive professional. She provides Anthology combined expertise in Human Resources management, recruiting, employee relations, training and benefits design and implementation.
Vicki’s scope of work spans the Pacific. Beside Hawaii, she has managed HR for companies with employee bases in Alaska, Chile, Guam, Saipan, Wake Island, Midway Island and Kwajalein. This experience accounts for an ever-resourceful spirit that has benefited Anthology well beyond her job description.
Vicki has a natural bent for business and marketing as evidenced by her education: Master of Business Administration, Human Resources Management from National University, San Diego CA, and Bachelor of Science, Marketing from University of Tennessee, Knoxville TN.
Within her profession, she has earned Professional Human Resources Certification (PHR) and is a SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP). Within the company Vicki is a go to person who everyone counts on for direct, to-the-point counsel.
VP/Public & Government Affairs
Keith DeMello brings more than 20 years experience in public relations and communications in the corporate, government, non-profit, and information technology industries. His work history includes service within the Hawaii Office of the Governor, managing and collaborating with public information officers across 18 departments, and most recently in the Office of Enterprise Technology Services, reporting directly to the state chief information officer on the development and execution of communications and legislative coordination. He volunteers his time on the boards of the Public Relations Society of America Hawaii Chapter and the Honolulu Zoological Society.
Senior VP – Public Relations
Patrick is an alumnus of the University of Hawaii at Manoa, earning a B.A. and M.A. in Communication. Since joining Anthology in 1992, he has gained a wide range of experience in public affairs issues and tourism marketing. Patrick has a strong background in strategic planning and corporate communications, has led numerous public information programs, is a superb writer, and has excellent working relationships with news media. Throughout his career Patrick has provided pro bono public relations support to worthy causes and currently serves as a volunteer board member of Duke’s OceanFest.
Senior Account Supervisor – Public Relations
Lei joined Anthology in 2013 bringing more than seven years of experience in hospitality, healthcare and technology to the team. In addition to her HVCB responsibilities, she also services Prince Resorts Hawaii, and is part of the communication team for the American Heart Association of Hawaii.During her career, Lei has managed public relations and social media efforts for Four Seasons Resorts Lanai and Four Seasons Hotel Boston, successfully elevating the social presence of both hotels.Born and raised in Honolulu, Lei is a graduate of Iolani School and Northwestern University, where she earned a B.A. in communications with a minor in business institutions. A member of Halau Kaulakahi, she has danced hula for more than 20 years and hopes to achieve her lifelong dream of competing in the Merrie Monarch Festival.

Page has been part of Honolulu’s advertising community since 1982 and is well known for her expertise in media research, planning, and buying for both local and national accounts. Her work style is based on a foundation of integrity and a belief in the partnership between clients, agency and media. Market research is her passion, and she keeps up to date with the constantly changing trends in media habits.
During her career she has worked in almost every advertising category and also brings client-side experience for Hawaii Visitors and Convention Bureau and Starwood Hotels and Resorts Hawaii.
Associate Director of Experience Design – Digital
Christian has more than 17 years of professional web development and information technology experience, working with a wide range of Internet solutions and technologies. He has an infectious passion for information design, user experience design and Internet technology. A professional web developer since 1999, Christian has worked with a wide variety of businesses from Fortune 500 companies to start-ups. Due to an extensive variety of responsibilities over the years he is able to manage just about anything that has a computer chip or connects to the Internet.
VP – Project Management – Digital
A graduate of MIT, Wenona knows the web development process as a programmer, a QA specialist and a client contact person. As head of our project management team, her role is to ensure that all projects are properly and realistically scoped, budgeted and staffed prior to development in order to meet our clients’ needs. Her extensive and diverse experience makes her not only an excellent coach for team members, but also a discerning judge of what it takes to bring a project to successfully completion. During her time at Anthology she has worked with every major digital client, including Microsoft, Bank of Hawaii, Marriott and Symantec.
Senior Project Manager – Digital
A graduate of the University of Hawaii at Manoa, Jantzen joined Anthology’s Digital Group in 2011 following 12 years in Atlanta, Georgia. He brings to the team and clients more than 16 years of digital experience, including seven years at the American Cancer Society’s global headquarters in Atlanta, where he served as project manager and product manager for the Cancer.org website and a trio of science-based online wellness programs implemented in workplaces nationwide. Jantzen also worked as a web project manager at The Home Depot, where his responsibilities included special projects and section redesigns on the HomeDepot.com website. At Anthology, Jantzen has worked with multiple clients, including Bank of Hawaii, Marriott, Hawaii Pacific Health, Kenworth, 7-Eleven Hawaii, Cades Schutte, Prince Resorts Hawaii and Foodland.
VP – Research Field Services
John joined Anthology in 2013 and has nearly 30 years of market research experience in Hawaii. He currently directs all field operations involving the collection of qualitative and quantitative data through telephone surveys from Anthology’s call center, as well as surveys conducted via mail, online, and public intercepts. He ensures quality control, being in charge of sampling for telephone and online surveys. He also oversees the research derived from focus groups and mystery-shopper programs. He is an alumnus of the University of Hawaii at Manoa, where he earned a B.B.A in Management.
Executive VP – Public Relations
With 20-plus years experience in business to consumer marketing, public relations and advertising, Jackie has provided strategic counsel to clients in diverse industries, including telecommunications, health care, travel, and food service. Jackie directs marketing programs that utilize a combination of print, broadcast, online, and branding strategies as well as grass roots and event marketing in their communications outreach. Hawaiian Telcom relies on her range of expertise. Prior to joining Anthology, Jackie operated her own marketing consultancy for seven years. She is a graduate of the University of Oregon, earning a B.A. in Sociology.
VP – Research Services
Craig has been with Anthology since 1995 and is an expert at studying research data. He relies on detailed statistical formulas and his own experience to assess findings, trends, and analyses, providing the basis for the intelligence and strategic recommendations that clients seek from Anthology. Along with responsibility for report preparation and analysis, Craig manages Anthology’s utilization of statistics, graphics and data processing functions, while also directing the work of editors and coders. He is a graduate of the University of Hawaii at Manoa, earning a B.B.A. in Finance.
Director of Account Services – Travel and Tourism – Public Relations
Born and raised on Hawaii Island, Erin has been with Anthology since 2006, concentrating mostly on travel and tourism public relations. One of her favorite clients is the Big Island Visitors Bureau, as it allows Erin to promote her home island and support its most important industry. In her spare time, Erin volunteers as a wish granter for Make-A-Wish Hawaii. She earned a B.A. and M.A. in Mass Communication and Journalism, with an emphasis in Public Relations, from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University.
Senior Project Manager – Digital
Johanna has more than 20 years of career experience in industries ranging from TV and radio to experiential events and the web. Prior to joining Anthology in 2014 she led entertainment-based consumer engagement and loyalty-marketing programs at San Francisco radio station KMEL-FM and in Sony Computer Entertainment’s PlayStation gaming division where she worked with DJ/record producer Tiesto, hip-hop musician Mos Def, and Olympic snowboard medalist Shaun White, and traveled to the Olympic Games, the X Games, the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, Lollapalooza, and the Voodoo Music + Art Experience. Johanna once even lived on a tour bus, traveling cross-country with the Vans Warped Tour. Johanna elevated her prowess in digital marketing as marketing manager at California State University, East Bay before heading out into business on her own. As an independent, she learned the true meaning of integrated marketing, driving campaigns that skyrocketed automobile maker Mazda’s social media fan base, produced successful public relations blitzes for Carlos Santana and HBO, and consistently sold out philanthropic events for music legend Stevie Wonder. Johanna moved to Hawaii with her family in 2012 to live in the countryside of Oahu. At Anthology, she enjoys bringing innovative ideas and creative solutions to her work with clients such as Texaco, Marriott Hawaii, First Insurance Company of Hawaii, and Hawaiian Telcom. Johanna graduated with a B.A. in Broadcasting from San Francisco State University.

Lori holds Bachelor and Master degrees in Communication from the University of Hawaii. As VP/ Director of Experience Design, her job is to help the Anthology team craft meaningful digital experiences into a sound communication strategy by matching relevant content, intuitive interfaces and brand-worthy visual designs. Since joining the team in 1998, Lori has combined her knowledge of marketing, and the psychology of design, develop and optimize digital experiences. Lori has contributed to the digital success of clients, including Kenworth Trucks, Hawaiian Airlines, Hawaii Gas, Hawaii Pacific Health, Bank of Hawaii and many others with a range of digital solutions.

Dennis leads Anthology’s in-house video production team. One of the most storied producer/directors in the Islands, Dennis has created countless award-winning commercials, documentaries, live broadcasts and music productions. (In fact, thousands of travelers view Dennis’s work every day in the form of HawaiianSkies, Hawaiian Airlines’ award-winning in-flight entertainment program.) His body of work includes projects for First Hawaiian Bank, American Savings Bank, Foodland, Hawaiian Airlines, Microsoft, Sprint, Starwood Hotels, Hawaiian Electric, Pizza Hut and many more.

Having traded the island of Manhattan for the island of Oahu, Tim brings with him over 10 years’ experience in advertising and marketing in the healthcare, telecommunications, consumer packaged goods and finance categories. He thrives on helping clients achieve their marketing goals through strategic integrated solutions. Recognizing that no two challenges are the same, Tim draws on his considerable past experience and current market insights to help carve out unique successes that his clients can own.
Solutions Architect – Digital
Miguel Olivarez comes to Anthology with more than 12 years experience as a software engineer and architect. Miguel has developed enterprise-wide applications in real estate, healthcare and education. Among his many skills is his ability to find creative, yet effective, technical solutions to challenging problems. He accumulated great experience working for a wide variety of companies in Texas before moving to Hawaii in 2015. Miguel started his career in digital as a web designer and has degrees from Western Texas College and Art Institute of Dallas.
Director of Editorial Services – Public Relations
Derek conceptualizes, develops, edits and composes editorial content on various subjects over multiple media platforms. Anthology recently created the editorial content manager position to utilize Derek’s skills as an award winning Hawaii-based writer and editor. Derek served for five years as editor-in-chief of Hawaii Magazine, an Oahu-based, nationally distributed bimonthly magazine aimed at frequent- and first-time travelers to the Islands. His professional background includes seven years as an arts and entertainment writer for The Honolulu Advertiser daily newspaper. Derek wrote lifestyle features on music, film, TV, nightlife, art, fashion and culture. At the Advertiser, he also fulfilled a longtime wish to combine his lifelong loves of music and writing, interviewing dozens of musicians including B.B. King, Prince, Eddie Vedder, David Byrne, Kanye West, Roger Daltrey, Rihanna and Pink. Born and raised in Hilo on Hawaii Island, Derek graduated from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, earning a B.A. in Journalism.

Allan earned a BFA in Graphic Design from the University of Tennessee and worked in Nashville, Atlanta and San Francisco before his love of surfing lured him to Hawaii in 1998. Allan is unabashedly passionate about his design work. In his words, “I have a fire in my belly.” A constant throughout his career has been winning local, national and international awards for his creative and design work. Locally, Allan’s work has earned six Gold Pele awards, highlighted by a Best of Show in Advertising and Special Judges Award for Anthology.
David Pettinger, APR
Executive VP – Research
David brings to the research team extensive experience developing and executing branding, marketing and strategic communications programs for clients in a variety of industries. He has a strong knowledge of marketing and communications, and is well versed in the business challenges and opportunities that exist in Hawaii. A creative thinker, David effectively leverages the firm's extensive resources to provide successful solutions for his clients.
David is accredited in public relations by the Universal Accreditation Board (UAB). He is the recipient of the Public Relations Society of America's Hokupaa Award for leadership and contributions to the profession and is a former president and currently serves on the board of the Hawai'i chapter of PRSA. David graduated from the University of Hawaii at Manoa with a bachelor's degree in business administration, majoring in marketing.

Heidi brings her management skills from the fields of media, technology, marketing, training, operations and strategic development. Today, she oversees Anthology’s largest advertising client and brings all those skills into play. Heidi rejoined Anthology after spending five years as Director of Business Operations for Civil Beat, an online media company that garnered national attention. In her first stint with Anthology, she managed the company’s largest digital clients, including Symantec Corp, Microsoft and Sprint and managed the team’s account service team.
She also worked as Client Services Director for a leading Honolulu design shop. Heidi is known for her strategic thinking, problem solving skills and ability to find ways to get things done. She received her degree from the University of Hawaii and has taken extensive online classes from Cornell University.
Heidi views her role as one of solutions; "There are no problems, only opportunities to find solutions and create successes."
Account Supervisor - Advertising
Robert goes the extra mile as an account supervisor to ensure the needs of his Anthology clients are met consistently and on time. He was given his first peek behind the curtain into the world of advertising at a young age when a family friend cast him as an extra in a local TV spot. His fascination with the spot’s production followed him through his college years and into his agency career. At Anthology, Robert has worked with clients Hawaiian Telcom, Hawaii Pacific Health and Ward Village to develop and execute marketing strategies, advertising campaigns and events. Prior to joining the Anthology team, he worked with a number of national and Hawaii-based brands, including Burger King, DTRIC Insurance, Heineken and Honolulu Cookie Company. Born and raised on Oahu, Robert graduated from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, earning a B.A. in Communications.

As Vice President and Creative Director for the Anthology’s Advertising Group, April excels at developing ideas that are both innovative and finely targeted. Her passion for getting to the heart and soul of a brand leads to advertising that is striking, memorable and always relevant. She has won numerous local and national awards for her work, and has been named Hawaii Advertising Federation’s Ad Woman of the Year.
Associate Creative Director – Advertising
Having cut his teeth as an Art Director at O&M/Portland and DDB/Seattle, Kris gained international experience working at agencies in Singapore and Cape Town. An avid traveler, Kris is nearing his goal of joining the Century Club (having visited at least 100 countries). Some of his fondest memories include walking hand-in-hand with an orangutan in Borneo, running the croc-infested Zambezi in a leaky dugout canoe, driving a Land Rover through a herd of white rhinos, and narrowly escaping a riot in Karachi, Pakistan. Today, Kris draws inspiration and energy from his adoption of two beautiful little girls from China.
IT - Manager
Peter has more than 15 years of experience in IT administration, networking, management and support. He is proficient in a wide array of systems, OS, security and hardware environments, and provides Anthology with creative and efficient solutions in a wide range of environments. Prior to joining Anthology in 2013, Peter worked at Apple Inc., which offered him excellent insight into multiple technology industries. Born and raised in Hawaii, and a graduate of the University of Hawaii at Manoa, Peter is happy to call the Islands home again.
Account Supervisor – Public Relations
An Emmy award-winning journalist turned public relations professional, Laurie brings more than a decade of broadcast media and government communications experience with her to Anthology. She most recently served as a spokesperson for the Virginia Department of Transportation, working on the state’s behalf to advance community outreach initiatives for large-scale transportation projects. She has also worked as an investigative reporter for televisions stations in Virginia, Florida and Georgia, focusing on military and transportation issues. Laurie draws on her years of on-air broadcast experience to help Anthology’s clients in government, corporate and nonprofit sectors effectively communicate their messages to the media and the public.
Senior Account Supervisor – Advertising
Amy brings a highly organized, detail-oriented approach to her work at Anthology. A born multi-tasker, she is adept at managing multiple projects while staying on top of deadlines and budgets. After graduating from Williams College, her wanderlust spurred a two-year post-college sojourn in Osaka, Japan, where she taught English. Today, she is happy to call Hawaii her home — as she has for more than 20 years.

Samantha brings to Anthology more than six years of experience in integrated marketing communications strategies, including traditional marketing and advertising, public relations, digital communications, and event management. With a background in multiple industries – from nonprofits and food and beverage, to retail and fashion – she offers a wealth of knowledge to all of her Anthology clients. A California native, Samantha attended Simmons College in Boston, Massachusetts, earning a Master of Science in communications management.
Mei Jeanne Wagner
VP – Advertising and Promotions
Mei Jeanne brings a unique blend of public relations, marketing, issue advocacy and event planning experience to her work. Having worked extensively in the entertainment industry, Mei Jeanne believes strongly in using every appropriate communications tool to further her clients’ objectives. She also brings to Anthology keen insights into communicating effectively to constituencies within Hawaii’s unique multi-cultural community, and has played a pivotal role in creating award-winning branding and communications programs for the Office of Hawaiian Affairs, among others. Mei Jeanne also serves on numerous nonprofit and charitable boards.
Associate Creative Director – Advertising
Adrian Walker’s circuitous professional journey — from Tokyo to Seattle to Cincinnati to Hawaii — helped develop his unique perspective on the challenges and joys of advertising. As a copywriter and copy director, he has crafted award-winning words for multinationals and mom-and-pops alike, always embracing the challenge of creating and sustaining an authentic brand voice. His work has received local, national and international recognition.
Staci Suarez Wan
Account Supervisor - Digital
Staci Wan uses her excellent customer service and problem-solving skills to help companies meet their sales and marketing objectives. Before joining Anthology, Staci spent seven years working in interactive marketing for the online editions of the Orange County Register and the Los Angeles Times. Her client list at Anthology includes Hawaii Pacific Health, Marriott Hawaii, Hawaii Gas and Foodland. She has two degrees, one in Business Information Systems from DeVry University and another in Merchandise Marketing from Fashion Institute of Design and Marketing.
Senior VP – Public Relations
John Williamson brings 25 years of communications experience in planning public involvement and public information programs, development of messaging disseminated through written, digital and broadcast channels, as well as planning and executing community outreach activities, such as public forums and workshops, booth presentations at neighborhood events and door-to-door canvassing. John has served in the position of project manager for public information and community outreach for multiple clients on some of the largest projects in the state of Hawaii.
