The Challenge

Kenworth, a division of PACCAR Inc. and one of the world’s most renowned truck manufacturers, has worked with Anthology since the relaunch of the Kenworth.com website in 2011. Kenworth came to Anthology in 2015 seeking to build a mobile application that would serve both its customers and sales representatives, providing timely industry news, product details, and secure access to sales and marketing materials for Kenworth representatives. Using a hybrid app development approach tied to the existing Kenworth.com content management system (CMS), Anthology created a cross-platform, highly flexible and scalable mobile application with the ability for Kenworth to manage app content in real-time without requiring resubmissions to the retail application outlets (Apple Store, Google Play). Launched in May 2016, the Kenworth Essentials App has enjoyed a great deal of popularity among Kenworth enthusiasts and employees, amassing more than 4,000 downloads and continued strong numbers in daily sessions.
