Anthology Wins Best of Show at 2021 PRSA Hawaii Koa Anvil Awards
Aug 18, 2021
The best work produced by members of Hawai‘i’s public relations industry in 2020 was honored by the Hawaii Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) at its 38th annual Koa Anvil Awards ceremony, held on July 20 at the Prince Waikiki hotel.
Anthology Group took home 14 awards at the ceremony, including the coveted Best of Show award, which annually honors the campaign receiving the highest score from judges in the program’s Anvil category. The Koa Anvil’s Best of Show award went to Anthology’s 2020 campaign on behalf of State of Hawai‘i Department of Business, Economic Development and Tourism’s Hawai‘i Housing Finance and Development Corporation (HHFDC) for its Rent Relief and Housing Assistance Program.
Entries for this year’s Koa Anvil honors were judged by the Los Angeles chapter of PRSA. As is the awards program’s tradition, entries were judged in two main categories: Koa Anvil Awards for outstanding public relations programs and Koa Hammer Awards for tactics that were part of communications campaigns. In addition to Best of Show, Anthology was awarded nine Koa Anvils, a Koa Hammer, and three Awards of Excellence.
Anthology’s awards for the evening were given to work spanning multiple divisions of the company and multiple clients.

Established in 1983, the Koa Anvil Awards capture and celebrate the four rings of excellence for which the Koa Anvil competition is judged: research, planning, execution and evaluation.
This year’s Koa Anvil Awards ceremony adhered to all State of Hawai‘i and City and County of Honolulu COVID-19 protocols for gatherings of its size. All attendees were required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination at the event’s check-in, and contact tracing and other safety measures were implemented to protect guests.
Congratulations to all of this year’s Koa Anvil Awards winners! ā
