Anthology Wins Best of Show at 2024 PRSA Hawai‘i Chapter Koa Anvil Awards for Mālama Maui — Recovery Phase Campaign

Sep 4, 2024

Anthology FINN Partners took home 12 awards at the 41st annual Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Hawai‘i Chapter Koa Anvil Awards, including the evening’s top prize of Best in Show.

The coveted Best of Show award, which honors the public relations campaign receiving the highest score of all winners in the award program’s Koa Anvil category, went to Anthology for its work on the “Mālama Maui — Recovery Phase” campaign in collaboration its clients the Hawai‘i Visitors and Convention Bureau and Maui Visitors and Convention Bureau on behalf of the Hawai‘i Tourism Authority.

The Mālama Maui campaign’s Koa Anvil award — which placed it in competition for the Best of Show award — was in the category of Reputation/Brand Management: Travel and Tourism/Hospitality. The award now goes on to compete in PRSA’s Best of the West Awards at the Western Regional level.

Anthology received two additional Koa Anvil awards, which recognize outstanding achievements in conceptualizing and conducting full public relations programs for clients, and a Koa Anvil Award of Excellence. The team was also honored with a Koa Hammer award, recognizing outstanding public relations tactics in communications campaigns, and six Koa Hammer Awards of Excellence.

This year’s PRSA Hawai‘i Chapter Koa Anvil Awards were held on August 22 at the Prince Waikiki hotel. The annual regional awards competition and ceremony honors the best work from Hawai‘i’s public relations programs and practitioners. This year’s competition, comprised of campaigns created and executed in 2023, was judged by the PRSA Hoosier Chapter, based in Indiana.
